Most people talk, but very few actually connect. Great communication doesn’t happen when you just share information, it happens when two minds align in understanding.

Here’s how to connect with more clarity and influence starting today:

1) Listen to connect, not just to respond

Most people listen with the intent to reply. Instead, focus on fully absorbing what the other person is saying. Be present. Pause. Let their words sink in before you respond.

2) Repeat their key points

Reflect back what they’ve shared in your own words. This simple habit builds trust and ensures you’re both on the same page. Most people call this the “mirror principal”. We don’t need a fancy term for this, simply show some appreciation for what they said.
